Treated as an imperial brown ale, this was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a brown color with some red hues along the sides of the glass.
The aroma had some maple sweetness with some big sweet nutty malts flowing forward into some milk chocolate and a light vanilla. Some tobacco. Then some earthy and grassy hops.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness of the malts and some light booziness. Aftertaste blended tobacco to sweet vanilla and then earthy tones slide in very nicely. Finish is dry and smooth with a clean tobacco intake.
The feel was medium bodied with a great sipping quality about it. Carbonation had fallen off a little bit, but the ABV felt perhaps just a tad under. Very malty smooth all around.
Overall, well, other than this being a little bit aged, it came out very well in all departments. Glad I sent the other bottle of this to a friend, hope she likes it as much as I do.

Hazy dark brown. Light aroma, a little marshmallow and caramel. Good carb, solid even but fades fast. Very sweet. Marshmallow, vanilla and faint coconut. Goes down easy with a shar bitterness at the end.
