Best before Dec 2016, Thnx to the son of the owners of the bowling which it was brewed for. Gusher.... Golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, fruit sweet. Taste is the same and very sweet, has aged quite ok.

Thx! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Hemelrijk. No BBF. Hazy orange with huge white head. Nose is overly sweet esters, far too easter heavy, soap, grainy. High carbonation, grainy hand soap, orange peel sorbet, grain, soap,...sweet far too ester heavy,... Not too good but better than expected from Boelens.

Commissioned tripel (once again)... Lots of pressure in the bottle and smoke coming out of it, but no gushing. Very thick, rocky, dense, beaten egg-like, lacing head over an initially clear orangey golden beer with a ’fog’ of yeast bits throughout. Aroma of yellow plum, gooseberry, white rum, banana (even some bubblegum), honey, vanilla ice cream, apple cake, roses, powder sugar, sugared chicory, caramel, sweetbread, cream, sweet curry, fried egg, ginger, white pepper and already some rusty onsetting oxidation making the whole less attractive than it probably was when young. Fruity taste, estery with suggestions of pineapple, banana, pear and peach, sweet with a sourish accent, well-carbonated and even numbing the tongue a bit (in other words, overcarbonated), slick and smooth body, caramelly, honeyish and somewhat bready malt sweetness with white candi sugar and ongoing fruity esters on top, spicy hints, malt sweet finish with growing but still restrained earthy and floral hop bitterness, drying, yeasty as well, some warming, white rum-like alcohol. Technically more or less okay though the sweet curry spiciness in the nose bothered me a bit, but again too sweet even for a commercially intended tripel, a bit tiring even. Should receive a lot more hop bitterness in order to be even acceptable from a conceptual point of view. And there is no doubt in my mind that this ages very badly too...

Bottle @ home shared at my Birthday party. Murky yellow to orange color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly brett, lightly bitter. Not bad at all actually. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells grassy, herbs, yeast. Tastes grassy, fresh, dry, herbs. Medium body, too much carbo.
