Crowley from AFH. orange coloring, 1 finger head. Smells great, floral with some citrus aroma. taste is pretty good. it’s a thin body, drinks like a beer that’s way lower in alcohol. a little citrus and wheat. drinks really easy.

Sampled at the source. Pale yellow color, very small head. Aromas has very mild esters and phenol’s, hay and a straw like malt profile. Mild fruity yeast.

Flavors are nicely phenolic yeast up front, again notes of straw and grain. Straw and grainy malt structure. Lively bubbles and lightly dry texture. Slight pepper in the back of the sip. Body is on the lighter side of medium.

Crowler from Bert’s Slightly hazy deep golden color with a bubbly white head that persists. Spicy earthy herbal hoppy nose with bits of citrus pepper and light sweet bread at the edges. The flavor is sweet bready malt with some big peppery spicy phenols. Not as hoppy as the nose suggested although there is a lingering light astringency in the finish. Not a bad little sipper.
