A further development of its American heritage! The American Pale Ale was born in the United States where brewers use locally sourced hops – giving the beverage a powerful hit of citrus!

Our interpretation of the American Pale Ale boasts those same powerful hop characteristics with elements of blood grapefruit, apricot, pine, syrup and herbs. Served best at 10-12 ° C and enjoyed with friends while eating great food!

330ml bottle provided by djoeye. Bubbly off-white head remaining over a close to clear dark golden body. Nice lacework on the glassware. Fruit hoppy aroma, a touch of ripe lemon. Fresh fruity flavours of lemony hops and orange. Mild malty sweetness beneath. Ends with smooth fruity bitterness. Medium bodied. Refreshing with fine drinkability (Tromsø 30.06.2015).

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB April 15, from Systembolaget, 20150402) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A pleasant fruity pale ale.

Bottle. Clear deep amber/light copper liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of lychee, tangerine, citrus, fresh hops, weed, caramel and tofffee. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of mango, bread, knäckebröd, toffee and fresh hops. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice if a bit too malty for my taste in this style.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Enticingly spicy, citrusy nose. Medium body, lightly sweet fruitiness and then again these enticing hoppy notes that never get overly bitter. Great APA. 031214

Orangebrun klar med høyt beige skum. Dette lover godt.. Flott blanding av sitrus og humlelukt. Sydhavsfrukter og ananas. Mer søtlig sitrus enn bitterhet, men dette var et godt og forfriskende øl.
