Snifter at the source shows a darker amber color with thick lasting head retention. Aroma has light toasted grain, mild yeast and almost a floral hop that is subdued by the yeast and grain. Flavor is mainly sweet malts with yeast and hops being very subtle. The texture is indeed very creamy and smooth, very nice texture. Pretty much all malt but easy drinking.

On tap at the source. Billed as a blonde dopplebock. Comes to the table in a snifter a mostly clear dark golden/amber color with a smallish head that didn’t last very long. Aromas of caramel and lots of dark fruits and more than enough alcohol. The flavor is sweet with caramel and sugary malts offset with some dark fruits and melanoids. Medium to thick body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet sticky mouthfeel and plenty of warming alcohol. I liked this as a sipper, it was really tasty but at time the alcohol did get a bit harsh.

Burnt orange. Candy corns. Taste is onions, celery and radishes with a sweet burnt malt. Still not bad
