This staff favorite is hopped with a unique combination of Southern Passion, Motueka and Riwaka. These newcomers exude a fruit forward aroma with juicy flavors of passion fruit, guava, kiwifruit, earth and spice. We keep this pale ale light on the malt and low on bitterness for maximum destroyability.

Draught at Ale Arsenal. Pours a hazy yellow with moderate white head that fades quickly. Slight patterns. Aroma is restrained tropics, while flavor is overt. Moderate bitterness is a little high to blend with the hop flavor. Ariana gathered some pungency as it warmed.

The beer is a medium yellow, a slightly overripe banana color. It?s quite hazy. I can see through the glass but can only make out shapes. Head of fine white foam. Moderate lacing, decent retention. Aroma is an interesting mix of flavors. There?s some nice tropical fruit, not as juicy as most of their beers, an earthy, spicy flavor that I can?t tell the origin of, and some fresh, almost wheaty grain - maybe, that?s just the spiciness, though. Guava, mango, pineapple, pear, blackberry. Taste is a bit more fruit with less spice. There?s a grainy quality that I don?t love. Mild bitterness. Finishes pretty dry after some initial malt sweetness. Refreshing, though it is rather hot today and it?s just nice to have a cold drink. Light mouthfeel, a touch grainy. Light prickly carbonation. Good beer but not my favorite of their hoppy pales. Edit: New batch. Much better. Lots more tropical fruit in the aroma. Solid earthy, spicy background. Very tasty.

Hella hazy yellow. Lovely juicy kiwi and mango with pineapple. Hearty cereal and rye. Wow. The mouthfeel is totally spot on. Very mineral water and listenine mouthfeel without any sting. Lovely juicy acidity and bright fresh hops. Really awesome
