Very dark amber Nose is light with resin and pine cone. 22 IBUs? It has a lot more bitterness than I would expect. There’s a very light tangerine taste with piney finish. It’s interesting

On tap at the Barrel House. Pours a deep amber color with a large white head. A dusty nose of caramel and pine. The flavor is more dusty caramel, pine, orange bitterness, a bit of toffee. Smooth and easy.

On tap at Cascade, pours a fairly clear amber with a large beige head. Aroma of light bready malts, a little toasted malt, and very subtle hop profile. Flavour brings out dry bready malts upfront, followed by fairly generous dry hopping. Pretty basic stuff, with nothing out of the ordinary, but made well. Solid, boring amber.

Tap at Cascade Barrel House, PDX, 22/05/13. Clear chestnut brown/dark amber with a thin beige head. Nose is toffee, sugars, light vegetal notes. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit, light veggies, malty, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dryish finish with a little bitterness. Remember ... Cascades non sours are not designed for your enjoyment - they are purely there for a tick !!! Pretty pap.

Another good looking ale. Brownish red colour. Aroma is caramel and grass. Full bodied with more malt. Good for a warm day

Sample at the Barrel House. Pours a reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, hops and pine. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
