Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a fairly dark amber almost brown color with thin white semi-foamy head. Light lace.
The aroma had some light nuttiness, subtle brown sugar, caramel/toffee malts, coffee creamer and maple syrup sweetness.
The flavor took all of the previously mentioned aromas to a fairly high sweet level. Aftertaste was full of the same. Finish was fairly sticky, pretty sweet.
The feel was about medium bodied. Some cloying, but somewhat acceptable to me at least. ABV felt good.
Overall, borderline cloying, but I dig the aroma and flavor mostly.

Draft @ the pub. Dark amber color with thin white head. Nose is only maple. Taste is mildly nutty with a hint of caramel and maple sugar. Medium bodied, slightly creamy, soft carbonation fills the mouth. Texture is similar to syrup or maybe I had maple on the brain. It’s a standard maple based brew. Ok flavor.

Amber / purple amber Big maple nose, almost barleywine in sweetness hint of oak Drinks a lot like an English brown ale / amber ale with maple sugar added. Very bitter finish. Hard to get through a pine
