Looks charcoal black in the glass 2 finger head that fades fast Nice lactose nose with bitter chocolate Very chalky, bitter finish. Not too sweet and chocolate presence is weak. Milkiness is nice. Stil a pleasant beer

On tap. At brew pub 02- 14- 2011. Deep Dark brown, not exactly black. Nose of roasted malt and Light chocolate. Taste is lightly sweet from the chocolate, Medium body, with a slight watery mouthfeel that doesn’t detract from the overall drinkability of this brew. GetS much, MUCH better as it warms. This was my second favorite brew at the brew pub. I liked this sweet stout.
