12oz can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet malts pine citrus dank hops. Taste is more of the nice combo of malts and dank hops.

12oz can from Lawson's. Cloudy golden pour with a thin silky white head. Aroma is toffee and pine. Hops explode at first taste, dank, bitter, resinous and alcohol warmth. Kind of sticky with lingering bitterness and heat.

12oz can pours a dark orange with some soapy, white head. Nose has orange and pith and pine, lightly dank. Flavors of orange juice and herbs, malt and honey, grapefruit. Full bodied, sweet and bitter finish.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a slight dark burnt orange almost brown color with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation runs up at a nice pace to fill a nice thin foamy white head. Little bit of messy thin lacing all around.
The smell starts danky sweet onion with a menancing resin hop bittersweetness rolling in underneath, but then protrudes a big hop burn dankiness as it continues to warm.
The flavor takes in a big danky sweet onion sticky hop burn with big sweet resinous tongue ripping stickiness. Sweet to bitter grassy edge. Combined sticky resinous \"green\" (fresh) to danky sweet oniony aftertaste charging into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a super sipping sticky feel hitting my tongue. Harshness of the hops hit pretty sharp and bitter. Big hop throat burn.
Overall, wow, how old or how young is this? Though it kinda reminds of a day old SN Hoptimum, the hop throat burn is big on this one. Still, I liked it a lot as I believe that’s what the brewer intended.

On tap at ACBF 6/1/2013 Light pale golden color. My notes simply say dank dank dank. This was a great beer, almost worth the 30+ minutes I waited in line for the sample.

NOOO Ernesto beat me to the rating! Acquired 2 of these at the Lawson’s 5th anniversary party. Those carnitas tacos were amazing! Enjoyed at 55 in a Lawson’s glass.
A - Ultra cloudy hazy, 1 finger head that fades fast, dark burnt candy corn orange.
S - Huge grapefruit and pine cone bomb on the nose.
T - Incredibly resinous. Not a malt bomb that I expected given the ABV, sweet malty finish and piney resinous throughout. Grapefruit skin and some tropical fruits. Very impressive
M - Heavy body, very chewy bitterness.
O - This is the greatest 11%+ IPA I’ve ever had. Really fantastic stuff uber drinkable and I"d say the bottle is better than on tap.
NOTE: Listing says 10% but the bottle says 11.1%
