pour is pale yellow and cloudy. smell is a little sweet hoppy. UFO! UFO! but no sediment on the bottom of the bottle. some mild bitterness but not like an IPA or anything. decent carbonation. now there is there some bitter bite creepin up on me. yes oh yes an attempt to get some of the hop lovers. has more personality than a lager, fer sure. some rude ale attributes but for the most part it is well mannered. finish is simply mild and easy to get along with. perhaps a statement on what the new macro may be like.

A golden ale with a thin receeding white head. A ligthly hopped aroma, with a bit of boiled beans. In mouth, a rather restrained pale ale, veering on a lager, with crips malt, light hopping, mineral notes, non-descript. On tap at Harpoon Tap House, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head with excellent retention leaves sheet lacing as it recedes. Sweet caramel aromas. Crisp and fruity with grapefruit upfront turning to summer fruits and back to a lasting resin finish. Turns astringent as it warms
