Pours a cloudier gold. Taste is very sweet for a Pilsner. Almost more of a saison or something or even a bock. Well done, i just wish they didnβt call it pilsner.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers 6 Pack Eatery this beer poured a dark golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was dry with spicy and floral hops. The flavor was dry, bitter and had a moderate floral and spicy hop presence with a yeasty undertone and notes of lemon and pepper. The finish was long, dry and spicy. Fairly full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Solid.

Bottle on 08/22/2009. Very clear pale golden body with a medium fizzy white head. Sweet honey, pilsener malt, and grassy hop aroma. Sweet grassy flavor, some floral notes with a bit of honey and pilsener malt. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear golden with a large frothy white head that leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is caramel malt and bubblegum. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter floral hop taste and nice bitter finish. Alcohol present but not overpowering. A very good strong lager from harpoon.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of LooseCannon. Thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is very bready with some grassy notes and a peppery finish. Taste is very bread again with lots of peppery spice notes, caramel and some apple and peach notes poking through. Very strong piney hops throughout. Alcohol adds a bit of a medicinal quality to this.

A golden pilsner with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, citrusy hops aroma with light lemon peels, and nice crisp malt and herbal notes. In mouth, crisp malt, loads of Saaz hops, a real pils on hormones. Medium bodied, alcohol warmth in finale. Bottle from Federal Wine and Liquors, Boston, tasted with Mateo in Bogota, Colombia, July 12, 2009.

On tap at Bocktown, nice pale. Is this different than the regular bohemian pilsner? Not sure. Looks like a pale american lager. Thin and creamy white head. Has a rather pleasant aroma about it. Decent carbonation. Sharp and somewhat fruity pilser sharp bite. Certainly lots of personality. Almost cake like in the presentaion.A little too much personality for this lager lover, nearly astringent on the the lager impact. Bitter biting finish.

Pours deep gold into a pilsner. Bright white head recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Saaz aromas. Full and boozy caramel upfront turning crisp and dry in the lasting resinous grapefruit finish.

Pours a light golden color with a little white head. Smells all like a strong lager mostly, you can tell it is gonna be boozy. However, the taste is not as boozy as you would expect from a beer with this much booze in it. Somewhat spicy, a little grassy and earthy. Some hop bitterness. Overall easy, maybe too easy to drink, big beer.
