On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, resin bitterness, very good.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a big cream colored head. This is two years old. For some reason I thought this was a brett saison but evidently it’s an IPA. It’s not really fair to rate it at this point and I wouldn’t but it’s actually kind of cool. The aroma is still pretty tropical fruit forward. Plenty of melon, mango, and oranges. Medium body. A little boozy. It’s certainly deteriorated but there is some peach and mango notes intact. I think this would be pretty cool fresh.

750mL bottle, sent from xscottypx (thanks a lot, Scott), pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity, bringing out loads of tropical fruits--think pineapple, peaches--, along with resinous hops, and quite a bit of pine. Flavour brings out loads of pine, some subtler (than the nose) tropical fruits, resinous hops, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Very dry and exceedingly piney on the palate, leaving a slight astringency and a very dry finish. High drinkability stuff. Excellent IPA.

Pour is a orange with a small white head. Aroma is lots of pine hops with some malt. Flavor is about the same. Decent piney-citrusy hop with a decent malty backbone. This is quite decent with the hops really the main showcase.

Acquired this in a trade. Can’t remember from who though. Too many trades in a month will do that to you. Stuck this IPA in the fridge. Poured into a Mikasa Tulip glass. 3 pounds of hops per barrel? Bring it on!
A - SRM of 22, dark amber / cedar wood appearance. 2-Finger light tan head, okay head lacing with a slow subsiding to 1-finger in height after 3 minutes.
S - Awesome pine needle, spruce tip and ruby red grapefruit juice dominate the nose. Mild bit of candy malts on the back end. Hops are mostly citra with a bit of Amarillo.
T - This may have set a bit too long. Hop profile has faded a bit from 62IBU as stated on the bottle to about 30. Faded hop profile, mild cheese taste. Citra still dominating the flavors Lingering wood chip taste, no alcohol taste, there’s a wee bit of orange juice taste but I’m sure it’s just the hops.
M - 50/50 carbonation, medium body, lingering citra and columbus resin.
O - Decent beer. I’d love to have it fresh but this was a tasty beer and very enjoyable.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours copper with a 3 finger creamy/bubbly light beige head. Yes, the aroma suggests a big kitty. Med + body. Flavor is slightly sweet caramel, but there’s a huge amount of hop. Grapefruit. Resin. Earthy. Floral. Jupiter. Just threw that one in for fun, cause there’s so much hop I doubt anyone can break out the flavor strands. If I die in a moment, I’m sure my innards will be well preserved. This is incredibly good and hoppy. That’s the finish. Brilliant effing ale.
