Boring. Flavor is weaker than some macroswill. Just a touch of malt biscuit in the aroma and flavor, finishing with bitter hops. The definition of lameness. A poem, anyone?
Gordon Biersch woke up one day
To brew some beer, pave the way
To a time of good fun and cheer
Which requires, my friend, a tall glass of beer
A pilsner! He cried, red in the face
Ran to his kettle, this was a race
To gain praise and fame for brewing this pleasure
A beer quite tasty yet light as a feather.
The yeast got to work, the slurry was clear
"Pilsner" was ready, the day was now near
The cap popped off and the liquid did pour
Alas, only to anguish and bore.

No aroma worth talking about. Golden not much carb or head. Bland malt and pretty boring.

Tasted at the Oakville branch, but brewed at Whitby
Full gold colour; biscuity malts in the nose are appetizing. Mild palate, some crisp hoppiness - lime, hay, flowers. Minty note in the finish. Has some good elements, but needs to expand upon them because it comes up light overall.

This is a great benchmark for other pilsners to live up to. The hardest thing is choosing between this and the GB Marzen.
