Subtle popcorn nose. Cloudy ochre, thin head, good lace. Milk chocolate, wood. Dried leaves are dominant. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Location: I venture into the Rock Bottom Bethesda every now and again because it is so close, this is one of their standard offerings, and I've had it a few times on tap
Overall Impression: I actually think that this one is the best of their standard offerings. For it's style it's at lease a solid C, while the rest of the Rock Bottom Bethesda always available beers , in my opinion, are at best D+ beers. It is a little thin though.

draft at the downtown Indy brewpub - Pours amber and laces well. It has a light caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet caramel malt with some mild hops. It has a light body and light carbonation. It’s an average session brew, no more.

On tap @ brewhouse, Campell. Clear chestnut body with a small white head. Mild, malty aroma. Nice, harmonic flavor. Moderate hops, malty sweetness, a bit roasted. Aftertaste have some pleasant bitternes.

Bethesda location. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with a light touch of hops. While the flavor is sweet with strong notes of berries and caramel, as well as lighter notes of wood, leading to a dry bitter finish. I find it somewhat boring.

1/13/04: From a sampler at the Indy location: I liked this one a little better than the Cincinnati version. Pours a reddish amber color with a medium thin light beige head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is mostly caramel and malt with some hops. Medium body with a subdued malt flavor, as well as a pinch of nuts and caramel. The finish is not that great though.
7/28/03 (2.2): Tasted at the Cincinnati location. Dark amber color with a thin off-white head. Thin lacing. Light sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a bland malt flavor and a somewhat sticky finish. I did not enjoy this one much.
