A classic Southern English-style Brown with a medium body and subtle hints of roast and chocolate malt flavor. This beer is brewed with traditional mild English hops that balance the complex malt characteristic.

Location: Made a trip to the Arlington Rock Bottom the same day I saw The Dark Knight
Overall Impression: It's a decent brown, but it just doesn't bring a ton of excitement to the table, I think it's better then the Brown Bear Brown...

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and bitter, leafy hops. Taste is very dry with nutty notes, caramel and bitter hops. Medium bodied. Best beer of the visit.

22oz glass on tap at the Ballston Mall location. Fairly standard brown ale, dark, maple color with a slightly frothy beige head. Nutty, sugary aroma that bordering on overly sweet. Chewy grains, toffee, nuts and a little bit or orange peel in the flavor. Sweet, dry finish.
