A good surprise coming from the Rio Getränkmarkt at Muri AG. Trying this beer three days ago, relax, at home. A right and well brewed dark beer, on the German way, smooth and fruity, I could say complex with notes of raisins, plums, malty, some hop, 27.10.21

Bottle from Falken Getränkemarkt, Schaffhausen. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 140725

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare nebbioso. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane tostato e agrumi.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Allen!): Clear, amber coloured, slowly collapsing off-white head; dryish grassy-hoppy nose with a distinctive caramelly/dark-malty underground; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; drier roast-malty and also slightly hoppy finish. Pretty good....

Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel and notes of grassy and herbal hops; bitter-sweet slightly toasty and hoppy finish. 27.I.10

Bottle, thanks Allen. Light sirup aroma. Red chestnut, brown crown. Caramel sugary entry, a hint bubblegum, some roasted notes. Thinbodied, quick finish, sparkly mouthfeel.
