Brown-red. Light bodied. Oily with coffee aroma, amd all kinds of other strange flavours. A strange brew...

Another funny little mild from the Channel Islands, like the Mary Ann Brown from Jersey. The aroma, slighlty metallic, shows some dark fruits. The character is very rustic - yeasty, with plums and raisins, and a sourish, vinuous finish. This would have its ass handed to it at any brewing competition, but in the manner of Bavaria Svetloe from St. Petersburg, it's the flaws that make it an interesting beer to drink.
