A good, tasty, fruity bitter. Tastes more than percentage depicts. At a fantastic price!

Gravity pour at the Halfway House, Pitney pre lockdown. Pours clear amber with a beige head. Aroma: malt, caramel, English hops. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, hedgerow fruits, berry hints. Medium body, soft carb, dry bitter finish. Pretty uninspiring

Cask ale, half pint at Teign Cellars. Spotty lacing from a missing head. Near clear amber coloured body. Smell of plums and apricot. Berry fruit flavours alongside brown malts. Distant bittersweet end. Easy going (Newton Abbot 27.09.2016).

Cask-conditioned at the Highbury Vaults, Bristol 07/02/10. Copper coloured with next to no head. A malty bitter with a hint of barley sugar, and some decent hedgerow hops in the bitter finish. Good.
