Bottle. Dark beer with a brown light bubbly head. The aroma is fruity, spiced and slightly vinous, the beer has a mulled nature to it. The flavour is mainly sour with a long dry finish. Overall a disappointing beer.

Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. Black (= very dark brown) colour. Interesting and unusual aroma: Ensilage, fresh mown grass, candy ("Kongen av Danmark"), hints of old ladies with a questionable personal hygiene. (Bordering on vomit, according to chris_o, but I liked it.) Flavour is grassy, citrussy, green apples. Easy drinking. Fruity finish.

A clear brown beer with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel as well as roasted malt. The flavor contains notes of roasted malt and chocolate on a sour background before a very dry end sets in.
