500 ml can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a thick white head and great retention. Good lacing. Soft pale malt aroma. Sweet bready malt flavor with some Euro sulpher water and mineral notes in the finish. The more I drink, the more Euro the taste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness. A little disappointing.

Pale golden colour. Rich head. Faint hoppiness in the nose, maybe some malt as well. Medium bodied. Unclean bitterness against a discreet but firm malt background.

Bottled. Pale golden with firm, creamy head. Papery malt aroma. Sweet with clean maltiness. Bold, rounded mouthfeel, slightly burnt. Less malty and distinct than I expect a Franconian festbier to be.
