another artificial fruit beer. The main beer seems grassy, and not great. Then by addiing this fake raspberry, it reallly makes it undrinkable.

On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. As Framboise. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a minimal sized white head. Pale malts, hay, grass and raspberry on the nose. Mediium body, soft on the palate. Some butterscotch notes in the flavor, probably due to the berries, but still not a favorite of mine this one. Pale malts in the back, some hay and grass, and a good dash of raspberry in the flavor, as well as a faint bitterness. Raspberry dominated finish. Boring, and not very good this one. 150611

(framboises).

Draught at the brewpub. Fruit aroma, soap and sour rag. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has a bit of fruit. Rough bitterness. Not so sweet.

An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is vague, but contains notes of raspberries. The flavor is very sweet with notes of artificial raspberries - too artificial for me. And the finish is slightly thin.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Golden colour, no head. Sweet with a lingering flavour of raspberry pie. Notes of toffee, low bitterness. A pretty decent example of a useless style.
