[Bøgedal nr. 22] A slightly hazy dark red-brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of licorice, yeast, and esters from warm fermentation. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, slightly over ripe, wood, cinnamon, cardemomme, and prunes. The end is slightly sticky. Nice one - I hope this is somewhat like what my grandmother used to brew.

Bottled 75cl @RBESG’05
Hazy nut brown, no head. Roasted, menthol nose. Medium-bodied. A bit chocolaty and roasted. Balanced brew and the best one I had from this brewery.

Bottled. Dark brown, small head. Sweet and lightly roasty with notes of honey and chocolate. The mouthfeel is rounded, and the salty finish has medium bitterness. Too clean flavourwise.
