375ml bottle into schooner glass. Nice label. Has the aroma of burnt sugar, like distant dark caramel. Slightly hazy beer with zero head. High carbonation. Medium body with really sharp carbonation. That dark malt taste is there at the finish then a tiny touch of acidic bitterness. Weird beer! Just stays one step ahead of being truly horrible.

Bottle. Sweetish gold lager with plenty of fizz, sweet malts and a touch of tired hop. Not for me.

Note - I suspect that this beer has been relaunched. The ABV is 4.4% and the packaging is different. I also suspect that the brewer may have changed. I believe that this is a brand owned by a supermarket that was brewed for them by Boags (who seemd to go to great lengths to disgusie this factor - and for good reason). The wording suggests that it is brewed on the mainland with some Tasmanian ingredients. Maybe this makes it a new beer? I emailed an enquiry, but in the absence of a response I am posting my review: Bottle. Poured clear gold with white head. Harsh aroma with some grassy hops. Thin and fizzy. Flavour is thin, grainy and harsh with some metallic bitterness. Overall, its not bland, but its not very nice.

Bottled. pale golden, small head. Aroma of mashed apples. Sweet with notes of black currant and som very light grassy hops. The mouthfeel is clean and hard and the bitterness low.
