Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, the flavor is pretty alike, but added light notes of honey, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Clean, malty aroma. Medium body with a very solid malt base and some weak notes of caramel. The finish is dry. 100507

Bottle. (Thx to Papsoe) Clear, golden beer with small bubbly head. The nose is a pleasant mix of malt and hops, but it didn’t go beyond pleasant. Malt, hops and some caramel in the flavor, which finishes mostly bitter. Medium body. Quite nice spring-pilsner, but it failed to thrill me. (070510)

Bottled. Golden colour. Strong, somewhat citric hop aroma. Dryish but with some malt sweetness coming through. Solidly malty and really hoppy with lots of oily butterscotch. Bitter finish. Pivovar Kláster really makes some of the finest beers in Czech Rep.
