The Påsköl (Easter Beer) of 2005 is a top fermented dark amber-coloured beer with a full-bodied sweetness. The aftertaste is balanced with a liberal bitterness and aroma from three handlings of aroma hops from Bavaria as well as the US West Coast. The beer has a alcoholic content of 6.0% abv and it tastes as good with robust food as it does by itself.

A deep red beer with a lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits and hints of wood. The flavor is sweet again with over ripe fruits, combined with notes of prunes, and a slight acidity. Nice.

Bottled. Dark brown, rich head. Fruity aroma with notes of strawberries and cocoa. Sweet and medium bodied. Evident dark chocolat flavour, along with ouzo(?!). The mouthfeel is fairly clean, and the finish is salty with notes of anise. Complex flavourwise, but the malt profile is somewhat simplistic.
