Draught at Købehavnske Øldage 2006. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a brown head. Has a dry slightly roasted aroma. Dry roasted malty flavor with some hints of chocolate. Dry finish with some bitterness.

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage (v2 5.1%) ] Very dark brown, clear, brief ehad. Coffee aroma. Very dry with gard mouthfeel. Roasty malt dominates, and remains the only contributor to the flavour. I get chocolate and coffee. Abrupt finish.

Draught. V2. Almost black colour. Small, stable, very light brown head. Has a hint of hop aroma. Flavour is roasted like a Schwarzbier, but it also has some hop flavour. Probably out of style, but not unpleasant.

A deep red beer with an OK brown head. The aroma is sweet and slightly burnt and with hints of plastic. The flavor is sweet with light notes of chocolate, but also light notes of burnt plastic. Drinkable, but not good. I find it closer to a light porter than a schwarzbier with the chocolate notes.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a handsome, creamy, beige head. Slightly burned, ashy nose. Medium body with plenty of roasted malt and some lightly burned accents. Dry, light bitter finish. Fairly decent, but perhaps more a Stout than a Schwarzbier. Thanks to BierKönig for sharing. 100306
