[Another century is about to be turned - this time 6500, and again I celebrate it with a Mikkeller beer, and at the same time it is my Danish beer number 800] A quite carbonated beer, it gave a soundable fizz when opened and pours with a huge white head, underneath which is a slightly hazy pale orange beer. The aroma has powerful notes of hops with lots of different notes; dusty, flowery, citrusy, and more. The flavor is sweet with a crisp maltyness, which is soon forced in the back ground from the amassing hops, again with a huge diversity of flavors; fruits, flowers, grapefruit, and more, leading to a quite bitter yet very refreshing end. Inspite of the 6% ABV, I find the mouthfeel a bit thin.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy yellow colour. Stable white head. Hoppy aroma, perhaps a little too much. Flavour has citruc, but in the nice way.

Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Sweet fruity floral aroma. Malty fruity flavor, some floral hints. Long malty hoppy finish. A nice one.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy pilsener golden with floating impurities and a creamy, white head. Fruity, almost floral nose. Medium body with a solid malt base and a marked hopping. Fresh indeed. 190506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear pale golden. Strong grassy aroma. Very dry, yet with rounded mouthfeel. Very hoppy and really bitter. Stronger and more full bodied than regular pilseners.
