Draft @ Ukaih Brewing Company, Ukaih, CA. Pours a dark brown color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty licorice finish.

Light chestnut color. Faint, nutty aroma. Sort of extracty gasoline taste. Vague nuts. Really unpleasant.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear mid brown. Fruiy chocolatey nose. Quite sweet and intensely roasty with soft mouthfeel and near full body. Notes of prunes before a finish with licorice and good bitterness.
