Amber and hazy. Aroma is sprucey and molassesy aroma. Sweet and molasses, with spruce character, soft body and a sweet finish.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is very spicy with notes of spruce needles as well as tea. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, tea, and spruce needles, leading to a bitter finish. The body is a bit light.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Weird tar-like aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt accents, and then again these odd, smoky, tar-like notes - of spruce? The finish is dry. Hmm, more historically interesting than really pleasant. 260108

Med amber color. Butterscotch, phenolic nose with the same thing going on in the mouth. Not particularly worth seeking out unless you are a history buff.

Bottled. Hazy chestnut brown, small off-whitehead. Spicy pine needle aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Some lightly roasty malt, low bitterness. Despite it’s interesting name there’s actually not too much flavours in here.
