330ml bottle. Pours dark orange brown. Biscuit, caramel, plum, bubblegum, synthetic grape, honey, booze, cheap wine, lots of synthetic candy fruits. Smells much better than it tastes.

International IPA day train tasting with Kenny, all aboard the 15.50 from Waterloo to Sirenville, 01/08/14. Mahogany brown with a good sized tan covering. Nose is malty, dark fruit, spice, raisens, fruit cake tones. Taste comprises dark fruits, raisens, light booze, fruit cake mix, spice, currants. Medium + body, fine carbonation, lightly warming booze in the close with a little hop presence. Ok Belgian strong, drinks fine for 10% not too hot.

Micro train tasting with Colin on the way to Siren. Chesnut brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Bitterish malts with bitter dark toffee. Little dry cream. Bitter dried fruits. Light airy finish. Warning linger.

(Bottle 33 cl) Danish beer bottle. Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, sherry and alcohol. Very full-bodied, a little low in carbonation with extremely complex fruit notes with plenty of Belgian esters and a little yeastiness. Very subdued bitterness. Somehow it appears as if they cannot really do anything wrong at The Mussel Inn. 310108

Bottled. Cloudy amber, no head. Aroma of lingonberries and toffee. Full bodied with soft, creamy mouthfeel, notes of melon and plenty of cointreau and warming alcohol. Rum-like finish. A complex and wonderful beer in it’s very own style.
