Bottle at Erakor Island Resort, Vanuatu, August 2014. Clear light golden with a white head. Very thin and boring with cardboard, bread and some boiled vegetables. Actually really awful.

Pale gold. Grassy hop aroma, with a delicate spiciness. The hop doesn’t show up much on the palate (or even the nose unless it’s really fresh). It’s a fairly thin beer, light with vague hop and a little grainy sourness in the finish. Uneventful, serviceable lager.

Bottled. Clear pale golden. Odd spicy aroma. Sweet with some crystal malt character and a vague hint of grassy malt. The mouthfeel is clean and hard and the bitterness expectedly low. Not too shabby for a beer from a tropical island country.
