Bottle. BB 07/06. Frothy white almost no head. Dark amber colour. Powerfull complex aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Strong elder-notes. Long moderate bitter flavor. Creamy palate. This beer has survived aging very well.

Bottle. Best before July 2006. Small head with short duration. Color is hazy dark brown. Aroma is wonderful with lots of elderflowers. Taste is elderflowers fruits and malt. Wonderful oily palate.

Corked bottle
Dark brown color. The aroma has both some herbal and some roasted malt. Full body, sweet, balancing roasted malt and bitterness, the alcohol is quite warming. Not perfectly mixed, but quite good.

(Bottle 75 cl) Nr. 34 Slightly hazy orangey brown with a small, beige head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Full-bodied dominated by sweet caramel malt. Vague, earthy notes from the elder, but not as dominating as in other spiced Bøgedal summer-beers. Only a light bitter finish. Decent and drinkable, but now I simply don’t need any more Bøgedal beers with elder. 130206

[Bøgedal nr. 34] A hazy dark amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of elderberries and caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of elderberries, but also a slight touch of alcohol - no wonder at 7.7% ABV. One of the best Bøgedal so far.

Bottled. Cloudy mahogany colour, rich head. Chocolatey aroma. Sweet, fruity and roasty with notes of licorice and aniseed. Bitter finish. Decidedly the best of the Bøgedal beers I’ve had.
