AS STATED ON THE SITE: It´s name comes from a london pub where a strong toasted beer was brewed. Lighter than stout because of the use of torrified malts we find in this style a robust beer, very malty, a pronounced coffee flavor and a chocolate background. Ideal for enjoying a rather cold day and to underling the character of a cigar.

Bottle 330ml (from Colon) Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma has cocoa and cardboard. Light-bodied. Toasted malty but with bland cardboard and artifical cocoa flavors. Tastes more like industrial product than "Artisanal".

Bottled at Cruzat Beer House, Buenos Aires. Almost black, brief creamy head.Plastic aroma. Sweetish with some chocolate and coffee, but it vanishes into plastic. Rounded bold mouthfeel, lots of phenols. However much I try, I can’t get myself to like this beer.
