Bottled. Clear, dark reddish brown beer with a nice beige head. Roasted aroma with caramel and some fruityness. The flavor lacks the fruityness, but has a malty note as well. Medium to full body. A quite nice beer, but I like my stouts darker and heavier. (061124)

Bottled. Dark brown, small off-white head. Distinct cocoa aroma. Sweet and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Completely dominated by the milky chocolate flavour, making it pleasant but one-dimensional. Low bitterness.

Dark black with fine white lasting head. Aroma of roasted malts & chocolate. Fine lacings on the side of the glass. Easy smoke. Smooth texture, a bit watery though. Very pleasant and easy drinkable. However pretty ordinary.

A very dark brown beer with a slight red shine and a hug chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet and very chocolaty, but also with a roasted hint. The flavor is sweet and roasted at first, but then the chocolate comes at You, at first with sweet chocolate notes, but then it turns more and more dry over bitter desert chocolate to end up like ground cocoa nuts. And the notes of the ground cocoa lingers in a very dry and long lasting end. The body is medium to light. I’m impressed with this beer.
