Pours pitch black with a light head. Aroma has hints of malts and metallic notes. Taste is watery with hints of metallic notes and hints of malts. Finish has some mild notes of roastiness. Bulky, quite tasteless.

50cl can, 4,6%. Poured dark brown/black with a creamy beige head, quickly disappeared. Aroma has metal, roasted malt and sweet candylike notes. Flavor is roasted malt and lots of metal. Thin body. creamy mouthfeel. SImilar to Kozel dark, byt maybe sligthly less sweet, but instead more metal and watery.

(Can, 0.5 l - ABV 4.6 %, 20120420) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized, light brown, fizzy and it disappeared quickly. Aroma had metallicness, hint of roasted malts and some sweetness. Palate was quite light bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, metallicness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and biter. An unpleasant combination of too burnt malts, weak body and quite low bitterness.

500ml can as Original Dark Lager 4.6% ABV, from Kilpishalli in the northern part of Finland (see places). Fawn coloured, eggshell head with rather short duration. Deep, rosewood coloured body. Modest aroma of roasted malts. Roasted chocolate malts in flavour. Tolerably sweet. Foamy in the mouth. Medium bodied. Quite alright, the downside being a slightly metallic touch to the palate and a beer that lacks variation (shared with Eva at home in Tromsø, 14.01.2009).

Boks 0,5l kjøpt i Kilpishalli, Kilpisjärvi Finland. Merket "Original Dark Lager" med styrke 4,6%. Veldig mørk på farge. Litt rødskjær. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt brunfarge. Skummet fester seg til glasset. Veldig lite aroma: Spor av sjokolade. Smaken er uvariert men litt sjokolade også her. Litt bitterhet i avslutningen.

500ml Can (Original Dark Lager) - Dark brown, almost black in colour with a foamy head. Roasted malt aroma with a slight hint of coffee and some metallic notes. Slightly watery taste with some roasted notes and some malt and coffee. Some slightly smoked notes in the finish. Fairly drinkable but a bit on the thin and watery side.
