This ale has been brewed with our own strain of McMullen ale yeast. We have used large quantities of late addition hops, including Solvenian Celeia and Styrian Wolf as well as USA Amarillo. These contribute towards the bitterness and light citrus aroma.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 5

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is spicy with light notes of wood and caramel, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Amber colour with lasting beige head. Yeasty toffee apple aroma. Apple, ripe aroma. Some fresh toffee and hop on end. Quite a good bitter. Bit watery in mouth.

[Cask at GBBF] Pale amber. Sweetish and overly fruity with medium bodied and bold unrefined malt character. Sugary with notes of vegetables. No bitterness.
