Clear golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt, a touch of hay and not much else. Light-bodied; Mild earthy malt with some light sugars, a touch of herbal notes and a little bit of alcohol bite at the end. Aftertaste shows a good pale and light flavour with a touch of earth noticeable and a little more alcohol warmth. Overall, not a horrible choice to pair with Khmer food, a nice light offering to have with the heat of the day in Cambodia. I sampled this beer, served in a jug (~1 litre) for 11000Rial (US$2.75) poured and always refilled every sip I took by a Anchor saleswoman/beermaid at Restaurant 54 on St 178 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 02-April-2012.

[Bottled (imported to HongKong by Heineken HK)] Pale golden, reasonable head. Aroma of rice and vodka. Dryish, papery and fruity with soft but mellow and thin mouthfeel. Appley finish without bitterness.
