Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Golden, almost clear, with a tiny, off-white head. Caramel dominates the aroma, but there’s a fruity note as well. The flavor has caramelly sweetness, and also here there’s a wee fruity hint, and that goes all the way to the finish. Medium body. A nice, quaffable beer, but a little bit malt-dominated. (070511)

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Reddish amber. Flowery nose. Sweet and soft with medium body. Roasty with some herbal spices and spun sugar. Pleasant soft malt profile. Fairly low bitterness. A nice, simple beer.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin rim of orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of smoke and rope. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and again light notes of smoke, leading to a dry and lightly bitter end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Slightly hazy, dark amber golden with a dense, tall, off-white head. Lightly sweet, fruity aroma with a whiff of smoke. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and a lightly ashy edge. And the smoked accents reappear. Dry, hoppy finish. 290407

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Heavy hoppy and modetrate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. A little smoked. Moderate bitter finish. Average duration. Creamy palate.
