33 cL bottle, courtesy of renffisch. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a collapsing white head. Mild spiced an dry malty to breadish aroma, vague note of cardboard. Flavour is mild sweetend malty with a mild roasted breadish note. Lasting bitterness into the finish with a light acidic note from the roasted malt.

Clean amber color; big head. Macro Swiss brewers don’t lie: cereals aroma over all, then it becomes soapy. Very simple flavor, with caramel. Correct bitterness, maybe a bit too low. Not bad, but I will forget it soon.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with a light caramel accent. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of fruit and bread - a bit boring.

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Clear, amber golden with a small, white head. Lightly fruity caramelish nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and some roasted malt - even a touch of overripe fruit. The finish is dry. Not really a Brown Ale but a pleasant little beer nonetheless. 270707

Bottled (Thanks Bov!). Copper coloured, small white head, leaves lace. Aroma is honeyish, sour fruitish and caramel malts. Flavour is perfumed, quite sour hoppy with some hints of yeast and some berries. Some slight metallic hints also present. Quite dry palate.

Bottled (BB 07/2007)
Amber color, small off-white head. Fruity aroma: overriped banana, red currant and red gooseberry. Semi-fruity with woody hops and red currant. Leaves sourish, dry mouthfeel. Drinkable although not very much Brown Ale.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Clear copper colour. Evident aroma of ripe cloudberries. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied. Lightly roasty some perfume and esters as well as lots cloudberries. Rather low bitterness. Not very stylish, but good anyway.
