Cask @ JDW The Rawson Spring, Hillsborough [200314] [From memory as notes lost]
Blonde, clear, dense white head. Soft sweet pale malts, some soft English hops, touch of citrus. Found it rather dull overall as I recall, underflavoured for the abv

Cask, Beamish Mary, No Place. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Malty aroma with a tinge of fuit and hop.. Flavour was sweetish, malty and fruity with a bitter hop finish. Unremarkable but solid.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Mild fruity aroma and somewhat malty too. Flavour holds a slight herbal maltbase with a mild sweetness. No bitterness as such. Slight soapy finish in flavour. Not bad, but not thrilling either.

500ml bottle from Booths. I know the brewer at Daleside and he is a good brewer, and I know they use good ingredients and equipment, so why do they filter and pasteurise their bottled beers? Biscuity malt, decent hop, lots of fruit, but lacks substance. Would be brilliant on cask. Toffee biscuit and grapefruit citrus hop that is strong and lasts, but could be oh so much better.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Amber colour. Strange aroma of metal and kiwi. Sweet and light bodied with some dough and hay. Low-medium bitterness. Only partially succesful.

Bottled. Copper colour, small white head. Aroma is flowery hops along with some cooked vegetables in aroma. Flavour is very bitterish and hayish. Not too pleasant.
