Thanks to Elisabeth for bringing a 500ml can from the hotel in Barentsburg, Svalbard to our rating session at IHR. Light-yellow in body colour with an one-finger, white head. Dry, pale malt in aroma with hints of cardboard. Dry grassy flavour with hints of citric fruits. Lemony bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink. Quite alright in a Russian context of this style (Tromsø, 24.09.2009)

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet and primarily malty. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottled(500ml). -Pale golden coloured, small to medium white head, light malty and salty nose. Slight malty, grainy and mild hoppy with notes of cereals. Bitter-sweet finish. Weak as I’ve expected.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear golden with a dense off-white head. Clean and malty nose. Medium body, a light lingering tartness with quite some malt and a lightly bitter finish. Quite drinkable really. 180808

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Weak, almost inexistable, hayish nose. Flavour is sweet hopyness with metallic hints. Also some perfumed caramel or similar in finish. Unbalanced and rather unclean. .

Can 500ml (brewed 01/2006)
Pale yellow, decent white head. Rubbery, cardboard malty nose, also a bit metallic. Medium-bodied, sweet malty. More stable than you could expect from 4% beer, but also very uninspiring.

Light golden colour. Aroma of straw and grass. Palate is dried grass and some background malts. Spritzy but crisp, quick finish.
