50cl (5,2%) bottle from FreshMed supermarket Etterbeek, Brussels. F: medium, white, almost good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, bit grassy, oxidized, bready touch. T: medium malty base, bit bready, oxidized, caramel, grassy touch, weak herbal bitterness, medium carbonation, sweet grainy, nothing really tasty as I expected.

Clear deep gold with a moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: malt butterscotch, herbal and sulphury hops. Light to medium body. Taste: initially malty and light sweet. Butterscotch. Sourish mid. Hoppy ending. Herbal and sulphury. Light plus bitterness. Armenian vision of Czech pilsner. Common in some points but different as well. Drinkable.

500ml bottle at 4.5% ABV. Back of the label says "Kotayk Chani". Pours clear gold with a small white head that amazingly doesn't disappear after about 10 seconds. Aroma is grain, malt, some herbal hops. Taste is light sweet, grassy, a bit metallic, a bit hoppy too.

50cl bottle at my hotel room in Yerevan. Kotayk Tshani is the transcription the brewery is using. Pours golden with a white head. Definitely my favourite among the Kotayk beers I tried (lager and Gold were the other two). The same ABV as the regular Kotayk, but richer taste. Pours golden with a small white head. Sweet and grainy as the rest, but with some hops noticable. Not a great beer, but one of the best Armenian beers I have tried.
