Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, some coffee and chocolate, dark fruits, raisins. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. A bit boozy. This is a tasty but definitely not top tier Imperial Stout.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty, minimally dusty, dark malty aroma, a touch of liquorice, latte macchiato, honey. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, alcoholic-vinous, some cocoa, hints of blue grapes, treacle, honey, a touch of liquorice; full body, viscous texture, slightly sticky palate.

33 cl bottle (9,2%) @ hotel room, Rome. BBE 11/2014
Aroma has sweet cocoa notes and some oat. Also chocolate and alcohol. Flavour has oat, alcohol. chocolate and cocoa. Also somewhat salty licorice. Quite typical oat-IS, but I like it. Definitely better than I expected. Gets some weird herbal tones at the end of the glass with yeast poured in.

At a tasting, thanks Stas, very small bubbly head, opaque black color, thick pour, aroma of cocoa, vanila, dark bread and some wood, flacor of chocolate cake, dark bread amd some prunes, surprisingly strong sourness, relativly light body. Nice and quite easy to drink.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Vicous motor oil pitch black with no head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, a licorice note and a bit of alcohol. Sweetish and slightly acidic flavor with dark chocolate, a light fruity note and a more roasty finish. Quite full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Good.
