2005 bottle sampled 9/27/2005. Pours a clear and filtered candied orange colored body, amber-beige if you will. Head is small and held up by the voluminous forced carbonated bubbles rising. Some lacing present. Smells fruity, sweet and sugary, with light bready-dough and a clean yeast. Cherries, light oranges and pale malt sugars in the nose predominate. Flavor is fruity, very malty and sweet, but yet dries out nicely on the end. Orange blossom honey, light acidity to style and just really flavorful. I am really impressed with the amount of flavor packed in to this little guy and the smooth, almost substantial mouthfeel. The forced carbonation does not even seem to bother the beer, nor does the filtration. Hey, who says filtered beers can’t be good? (I do)
