Draft from Spuyten Duyvil. Poured darkish. Lots of yeast and some fruit. A bit licorice. Ok.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tasting glass. Opaque amber brown colour, small fizzy beige head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, candy sugar, molasses, cinnamon. Taste light heavy sweet and mild malt bitter, caramel, candy sugar, molasses, dark fruits, cinnamon, alcohol. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, malty and fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, surprisingly short finish, some woody and spicy notes, nice but a bit disappointing after all.

Dark brown color, with a grey-like foam. Caramel aroma with a hint of cinnamon. Very strong and alcoholic flavor with cinnamon, speculaas and caramel. Sweetish with a dash of milk chocolate.

Pours hazy dark brown with an amber hue and a lasting beige head. The aroma contains yeast, cheese, caramel, (over)ripe dark fruits and bread. It tastes medium sweet, light bitter and light sour. Creamy texture and decent carbonation. Unlike a typical brown beer because of its yeasty and character.

330 ml. bottle sampled. GUSHER. Dark ruby amber, tanned line only on the side for a head. Nose is rotting fruit, glue, off thick malts, spoiled honey, egh. Fizzy bodied. Taste is unpleasant rotting fruit, rotting, off, plastic, honey varnish, thick malts, spoiled raisins, candy. Thin fizzy bodied. This just tastes spoiled, infected, off,... Scores are good here this bottle wasn’t. Pretty rubbish. Shame. Dumped it.
