Bottle 50 cl. Brown with a creamy foam. Aroma: dark and burnt malt, caramel and kvass. Taste: prunes, sweetish caramel and burnt pie crust, light sourness, not bad.

Keg at Three Johns, 06/10/16. Rich brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is toffee, biscuit, dark malts, hint of liquorice. Taste comprises red berry tang, light spice, biscuit, toffee, brown bread, sweet notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent for style.

Keg at Three Johns. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet, brown bread, caramel, toffee, fruit cake and some candy. The taste is soft, sweet, dry, woody, earth, caramel, toffee, fruit cake, light spice with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Drinks easy. Decent tmavy.

Draught. Deep brown, clear ruby highlights. Nice dense off-white head. Stays as a thick layer. Brown bread, toast, dried fruit on nose. Light to medium body. Oily texture. Semidry bready taste. Toasted malts. Dried fruit. Light bitterness lingering on through finish & aftertaste. Very pleasant tmavy.
