Our signature porter, brewed with oats, has a soft, velvety mouthfeel with layers of chocolate and roasted malt on the palate. The ominously black appearance belies this porter’s approachability; Pot & Kettle is satisfyingly smooth and nourishing, but never lumbering or heavy. While not sweet, dark fruit notes, such as cherries, dates, and raisins, reveal themselves as the beer warms.

Craft Beer Junction bottle share, thanks to LKS. Almost clear brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Light thin and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Modest dark malts, pretty thin. Thin but flavoursome coffee. Mild pine. Light finish. Just lacks any richness or body.

On tap at Ale Arsenal. Lots of smoky ash and chocolate on both the aroma and flavor. Pours inky black with small brown head. Viscous mouth feel. Complex dark fruit comes out as it warms.

Pours a motor oil black from a can. Nice roasty malt aroma, some black dark roast coffee. Similar flavor but a surprising malty sweetness in the mix. Pretty good beer.

Cask at Trillium, Canton. Color is clear dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, some dark chocolate and roasted malts. Soft but little bit of too easy and light. Still one of the best cask ales i have had in USA.

Can shared @So Good (Rome). Bruna, intensa, schiuma avorio/beige media, discretamente persistente.
