Appearance: Opaque chestnut brown with a lasting beige frothy head. Aroma: Dark malt, basement, dried fruits, bread, distant hop. Taste: Similar picture. Medium dry. Low to light bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: It has got something interesting.

Bottled (from De Biertonne). Ambery brown colour with a mediumsize foamy off-white ead. Aroma is spiced, alcohol, some toffee and mild roasted and chocolaty tones with some slight yeast to it as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, some chocolaty tones along with some wood and mild spicy tones. Mild yeastiness in the finish.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a very dark mahogany colour with a thinnish beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, figs, caramel and a hint of liquorice. Taste is caramel, dry dark fruits, a little chocolate and liquorice and a touch of brown sugar. A little sweetness on the finish. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Decent slightly above average Dubbel.

Bottle. Pours cloudy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery touches and notes of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweet notes of caramel malt and estery and dusty touches. Bitter and dusty aftertaste with malty touches. Decent.

Bottle, 7.5%. Distinct brown sugar aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour with a red shine. Small whitish head. The flavour is sweet and caramelly some brown sugar. Low bitterness.
