Draught at the brewpub. Near black, creamy nitro head. Roasty licorice aroma. Mid sweet and dens, rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Some licorice and peat, salty bittrish bitterness. Think Guinness, but not the dead, industrial stuff we see nowadays - this is way better.

On nitro at the brewpub
Appearance: Black with a nice amount of tan head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts, coffee
Taste: Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate
A nice beer. Thin mouthfeel, but very nice on nitro.

Love the name.
On cask @ the Desert Edge Brewpub. Pours deep dark with amber edges and thin tan head. The aroma is full with roasty dark malts, some hints of chocolate and coffee. I also get a sense of a sweeter note that seems like caramel or molasses. The taste is roasty mixing with some mild tart malt astringency. It becomes mildly coffee along with sweeter caramelized malts and chocolate. Very nice.
